Come with me, love,
to the edge of the woods.
A supernatural glow
cast by the swollen moon
surrounds and embraces us.
The stars twinkle
like tapers burning in
constellation-shaped
candelabras.
The lake dances and
teases us with
playful reflections.
The balmy gentle breeze
caresses our cheeks,
tickles our hair.
Deer, rabbits and owls
curiously spy upon our
vespertine union.
Our forever begins
on this perfect night.
